Flood Relief

Hi everyone, as some of you know, I live in Southeast Queensland and just 2 weeks ago, almost all of Queensland was devastated by a series of floods, the cleanup has been massive and will be ongoing for years. From roads, to rail tracks and homes and businesses. 75% of Queensland is a disaster area, in Brisbane alone over 11,900 homes were completely flooded and 14,700 partially flooded, 2500 businesses were flooded and the same number partially flooded. It will take a long time for Queensland to recover and help is needed everywhere.
I was lucky, I live on a hill and in an area not badly affected, but my Daughter lives in Brisbane and so do other family members, and they were affected. As soon as our floods ended, Victoria (at the southern end of Australia) started to suffer a flood crisis as well. Now we have 2 cyclones heading in our direction and with so much waterlogged land we may have another crisis on our hands.
the wonderful designers of the Digi world have banded together to create a wonderful, huge Charity kit, and I hope that those of you that can afford to do so will buy this kit. Here are the previews and links to purchase it

Help support people affected by the floods in Queensland by buying this fantastic charity kit at SCRAPBOOK-BYTES. All the money raised will be donated to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal, launched to help Queenslanders affected by the recent floods. Many communities have been devastated. Some families have lost everything.

By buying this kit you are assisting over 200,000 people affected by these devastating floods. However, as the number of communities affected grows, more donations are needed.

You can also help make a difference by donating to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal directly. Visit Donate to the disaster relief appeal : Queensland Government for more information.
